PC Installation Guide

Download the latest FC2MPPatch
Download from GitHub

Unpack .zip anywhere
Extract the downloaded archive to any location on your computer.

Make sure no FC2 executables are running
Close Far Cry 2 and any related processes before continuing.

Execute the patcher as Administrator
Right-click the patcher and select 'Run as administrator'.
Select default network interface that your internet connection is on (usually Ethernet or Wi-Fi). If you have a previous version, select upgrade instead of install. - 5
Register an account
Create an account to get your login credentials.
Email verification required. You don't need to login on the website, only in the game. - 6
Start playing!
Launch Far Cry 2, go to the multiplayer menu, create an online account with your new credentials and join a server!
